About BellyFusion
BellyFusion is a concept dreamt up by a group of Ladies who all have the same interest in - or is it an obsession with - Bellydancing. Enthusiastic amateurs we may be, but with the support and mentorship of some of the best teachers in the area, we have all blossomed in so many ways.
We met, mix and have fun at class and beyond. Friendships have been forged, some of many years standing, some more recent but, being women, we are all very supportive, empathic and insightful. We socialise out of class, we attend charity functions as a group and greatly enjoy many nights out together, especially when food and drink is included and the theme is exotic and dance-oriented.
Our style is most definitely Fusion in its generic sense - we mix Turkish and Egyptian dance with a touch of Bollywood, Bangra, Salsa and other dance forms. With the aid of mysterious veils, colourful sticks and exciting finger cymbals we entertain and amuse.
Now we want to do more, both for ourselves and for others. We love to dance, we want to show others how much fun it can be, and hopefully inspire them to get up and give it a go. If we can find a way to combine our pleasure with raising money for good causes well .....watch this space!
