During BellyFusion's 2nd year we have formed a close bond with our Pirate and Viking friends, becoming part of the family of P.R.S ... the Poole Re-enactment Society.  We share a practice venue on Thursday nights and it's a marriage that seems to work extremely well.

 Not only do we share our practice sessions, we have joined in the parades marching through the streets of Poole

and danced the night away to the Pirate band The Dolmen. 

We've danced at their birthday parties and for their 1st Anniversary even shared a night in a Viking Longhouse at the

Ancient Technology Centre at Cranborne. 

What a night that was. There was a lot of dancing and singing round an open log fire with wooden terraces and mud floors under the stars

with only candles and the fire for heat and light. 

Brilliant, even sleeping in a smoke-filled longhouse in woollen hats and thick socks couldnt spoil the fantastic time we all had

and the following morning's hearty breakfast made it all worthwhile

Cant wait for the 2nd Anniversary!
