Poppy Day - 2011
Bellyfusion's 2nd Annual Poppy Day Pub Shimmy
took place in Poole Old Town and Quay
on Saturday 13th November
BellyFusion accompanied by friends and family and a Handsome Pirate escort, raided the pubs along Poole Quay and Old Town and danced for the customers for over 3 hours raising £250 for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal
  
Customers had as good a time as we did - some followed us around our route and donated to the fund more than once. We were even invited into a wedding reception being held in a venue behind the quay, to dance for the wedding party. Our thanks to our Pirates and friends who accompanied us around the pubs,
to the landlords who welcomed us so warmly and allowed our collections and to everybody who made the evening such a great success
 
Thanks also to all the customers who very bravely got up and joined us for a dance
  
  
Watch out for next year - we fully intend to do it all over again!
